Gov. Ishaku, targets 300m naira Revenue from Mambilla Beverages

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has placed a targeted profit of three hundred million naira for the Mambilla Beverages Nigeria Limited for the next one year.

The Governor, made the disclosure during the inauguration of new factory machine for the Mambilla Beverages Company in Kakara, Sardauna Local government area of Taraba state.

Ishaku, said based on the Sterling leadership style of the Managing Director, Mr Timothy Fanya and his workers they can be able to surpass the over one hundred and ninety six million naira they made in 2017.

Governor Ishaku promised to build the Tunga Dam of seven hundred and fifty kilowatts if re-elected for the people to have ceaseless electricity supply.

The Governor maintained that marketing remains key to the success of the company and thanked it for using the profit it got to buy new machines that were inaugurated.

Earlier, Chairman Board of Trustees of the Mambilla Beverages and Company Limited, who is also the Secretary to the state government Anthony Jellason charged the Kakara community to protect all equipment stationed at the company.

In his remarks, Managing Director of the Company, Timothy Fanya enumerated prospects of the Company to include, empowerment of Marketing team, linking of the Kakara tea farm to the dam for irrigation, undertaking of strategic training for staff in core departments of the company and others.

Jellason thanked Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for resuscitating the tea company that has placed it on the path of sustainable operation, Profitability and growth,pledging his unalloyed loyalty and commitment towards complementing efforts of the rescue team.

Commenting, the Chief of Kakam, Usmanu Maisamari Kakam applauded the peace mechanism established by Governor Ishaku when Sardauna local government area was in crisis.

He thanked him for appointing him as the Chief of Kakam and promised his resolve to reciprocate the gesture.

High point of the ceremony was the inauguration of the new factory machines, new green tea bags and handbook on green tea titled “Guide on Highland Tea for healthy Living and others.
