“Government is deeply pained by reports of brutality by some personnels of the defunct Special Anti Robbery Squad and will do all that is required to secure justice for victims and reel out punishments for policemen found culpable of violating citizens’ rights to serve as deterrent to others”, he asserted.
The Minister further said the voice of the protesting citizens in parts of the country have been heard by governments at all levels adding that the famous #END SARS and other demands code named 5 for 5 have been acceded to by President Buhari for dull implementation, to the extent that Buhari personally directed the disbandment of SARS being the first of its kind Nigeria.
