The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, MPWB, for has approved the sum of Eight Million, Four hundred and fifty-seven thousand, six hundred and eighty-five Naira, fifty-nine kobo (N8,457,685.59k) only as the 2025 Hajj fare.
The Public Relations Officer of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu in a statement released on Tuesday urged Intending Pilgrims who have made some deposit to balance their payment before Thursday 30th January to enable them to embark on the religious journey.
Aliyu also said that prospective intending pilgrims can also make full payment before the deadline to book for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
He stated that all payment to the board must be via a bank draft as no cash transaction would be entertained, adding that the
deadline is to ease complication of the list of Intending Pilgrims for the exercise this year and to remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
He informed that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for feeding and befitting accommodations in Makkah for this year’s Hajj.
The negotiation is online for best services by service providers to FCT contingent to this year’s hajj in accordance with the New Hope Agenda of the present Administration, Aliyu said.
