“I Will No Longer Be Silent, I Will Speak the Truth” — 2Baba Raises Alarm Over Family Interference

Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia has issued a strong public warning over what he described as a dangerous campaign by some family members and close associates aimed at damaging his reputation, endangering his relationship, and portraying him as mentally unstable.

The singer dismissed claims about his mental health, insisting that he is fine and fully in control of his life.
“I’m okay, I’m perfectly normal. Please stop painting me as mentally unstable,” he said.

2Baba alleged that the same interference that led to the collapse of his marriage to Annie Idibia is now being directed at his current partner, Natasha, whom he said is receiving death threats.
“My family destroyed my marriage with Annie. Now they are after Natasha. Natasha is getting death threats right now. This has gotten dangerously out of hand,” he claimed.

He expressed deep frustration at those who, according to him, claim to be acting in his best interest but are instead putting his life and that of his partner at risk.
“You say you’re trying to save me, but you’re killing me. You’re killing us. I’m a grown man and I have the right to be with who I want to be with,” he said.

The singer reiterated that he remains active and visible to the public, noting his recent performance in Abuja as proof that he is mentally and physically sound.
“Everybody has been seeing me out there. Anybody that has eyes knows I’m okay,” he stated.

Lamenting what he described as constant lies and manipulation, 2Baba said the situation has become unbearable.
“What my family is doing—fabricating so many lies—has become so dangerous. It’s not funny anymore. I’m totally devastated,” he added.

He appealed to the public and his relatives to respect his privacy and personal choices, urging an end to the harassment and threats.
“Please, just stay out of my private and personal life. Just let us be,” he pleaded.

2Baba also hinted that he would soon reveal more details, declaring that he has reached his breaking point.
“I’m not going to be quiet anymore. In the next couple of days, I’m going to speak a whole lot of truth.”
