Dogo Shama one of the commissioner nominee recently has said professionalism would be the key to this administration.
The NUJ chapter chairman who is a veteran both in print and broadcast media praised governor Abdullahi Sule for nominating professionals for commissionship in the state.
Reacting to the overall exercise the veteran said. “I think all interest were represented you can see that the governor nominated professionals who are smart and will be ready to work under pressure to improve the lives and the economy of the state’.
“I think the only area is the non representation of women.
Shama also disclosed that if appointed as a commissioner for information and culture he would bring back the dead annual monthly press briefing by government executives and will also ensure that every Wednesday the press will be briefed on the basic decisions of the executive council meetings.
He pledged to carry all journalists along by ensuring their welfare and other incentives.
You would recalled that daybreak news report that 15 nominees were submitted to the state house for consideration.
