In a condolence message, Mark reflected on the significance of love, faith, and values passed from one generation to another, noting that the impact of the deceased extended far beyond their immediate families.“

The passing of Madam Felicia Oyedeji and Dr. Edward Chiedoze Diogu is a poignant reminder of life’s fragility and the enduring power of love and legacy,” Mark said.He described Madam Oyedeji as a devoted mother and matriarch whose life was anchored on faith, family, and service. According to him, her influence as a devout Christian, respected businesswoman, and nurturing parent helped shape the character and discipline that defined Olumide Oyedeji’s career on and off the basketball court.

Mark also paid tribute to Dr. Diogu, whom he described as a revered community figure whose values, discipline, and guidance played a critical role in the development of Ike Diogu into a successful professional athlete and leader.“Dr. Diogu’s commitment to family and community instilled principles that clearly reflected in Ike’s remarkable basketball journey and leadership qualities,” he noted.

Extending his prayers to the bereaved families, Mark called for divine strength and comfort as they navigate the difficult period of loss.“ May God grant the Oyedeji and Diogu families strength, comfort, and peace during this time of grief. May the memories of your loved ones bring solace, joy, and lasting inspiration,” he said.

He added that the passing of both parents serves as a reminder to cherish love, uphold strong values, and build legacies that positively impact future generations.“Their lives remind us of the power of love, faith, and legacy. May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace,” Mark concluded.
