Ini Ememobong Foundation donates secretariat to IWADU

An NGO, Ini Ememobong Foundation has donated a meeting hall and office complex to Ibiono Ibom Welfare and Development Union (IWADU), Uyo branch.
The Foundation, it could be recalled,  had earlier donated the Udom Emmanuel IWADU House which serves as the National Headquarters of the socio-cultural Organisation in Ibiono Ibom LGA.
At the inauguration of the new building by the Oku Ibom Ibibio, Nteyin Solomon Etuk yesterday in Uyo, president (Uyo branch) of IWADU, Mr Linus Akpan  in his reaction to the gestures appreciated past presidents who showed commitment towards the completion of the project.
Akpan applauded Chairman of the  Foundation and  Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Akwa Ibom State,  Comrade Ememobong for his consistent  support for the organisation and prayed God to continue to bless him.
Handing over the office complex, Chairman of the Ini Ememobong Foundation, Ememobong who was represented by the Chancellor of the Foundation, Ulap Bassey Esang, Ememobong thanked past leaders of IWADU for their commitment towards the project. He further appreciated the people of Ibiono for the love and support they have shown him and promised not to let them down.
Inaugurating the complex, the Oku Ibom Ibibio, His Eminence, Nteyin Solomon Daniel Etuk commended Comrade Ememobong for always remembering his roots.
“I want to  encourage the people of Ibiono Ibom  to continue to give maximum support to their son who has done them proud”. He said, and  prayed for the Chairman of the Foundation.
In their separate remarks, The President-General of the Organisation, Obong Dr. Effiong Inyang and the Immediate Past President (Uyo branch), Mr Godwin Okon appreciated Governor Udom Emmanuel for giving an Ibiono Ibom son the opportunity to serve.
They unanimously acknowledged Ememobong’s appointment has culminated into the many benefits the organisation has enjoyed from him.
The highpoint of the event was the official handing over of the building to the organisation.
