Jigawa Governor Appoints Head Of Agencies

The Jigawa state governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has approved the appointments of 21 heads of Agencies of the Jigawa State Government.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim and issues to newsmen in Dutse by Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, Public relations officer, office of the Secretary to the state government.

Those appointed are Ahmed Umar Labbo Executive Secretary, Pilgrims Welfare Board, Kamilu Aliyu Musa Executive Secretary, Jigawa (State and Local Governments) Contributory Pension Scheme Board, Dr. Salisu Abdullahi Babura Executive Secretary, Farmers and Herdsmen Board, and Aisha Suleiman Jahun Executive Secretary, Justice Sector and Law Reform Commission.

Others are Muhammad Mangi Executive Secretary, Jigawa State Library Board, Ramatu Muhammad Dodo Executive Secretary, Agency for Nomadic Education, Dr. Abbas A. Abbas Executive Secretary, Agency for Mass Education.TPL Abdulkadir Umar Suleiman Executive Secretary, Urban Development Board and Haladu Hassan Executive Secretary, Alternative Energy.

Similarly, Umar Farouk Wada is the Director General, Manpower Development Institute (MDI), Furera Isma Jumare Director General, InvestJigawa, Imam Muhammad Managing Director, Jigawa Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (JARDA), Engineer Adamu Garba Managing Director, Jigawa State Small Town Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (STOWA) as well as Babandi Isah Gumel Managing Director, Jigawa State Savings and Loans Bank.

Engineer Labaran Adamu is appointed as Managing Director, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA), Halliru Sa’id Managing Director, Jigawa State Investment and Properties, Engineer Ahmed Lawal Managing Director, Jigawa State Environmental Protection Agency (JISEPA), Engineer Zubairu Alhaji Managing Director, Rural Electricity Board (REB) while Madaki Abdulkadir Ja’e is the new Managing Director, Dutse Capital Development Authority (DCDA).

Rabi’u Khalid Maigatari Managing Director, Jigawa State Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO) and Arc. Saleh Abubakar Gumel General Manager, Jigawa State Housing Authority where the statement said the appointments of the new appointees is purely on merit, competency and personal integrity. ” It is therefore, hope that, the appointees will justify the confidence reposed on them” the SSG said. All the appointments take immediate effect.
