JUST IN: Kano Governor Orders Closure of MDAs’ Accounts

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has ordered the immediate closure of all accounts held by the state’s Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The directive was given on Wednesday during a meeting with the Chairman of the Kano State Internal Revenue Service and heads of MDAs at the Government House.

Governor Yusuf stated that the decision aims to ensure that all government revenues are accurately accounted for and effectively used for the state’s development.
