Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has been lauded as a politician who ascended to prominence through just governance, empowerment, and a leadership style built on trust.
Victor Mathew Bobai, a contemporary politician and Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor, made this assertion in a written piece titled “Empowered Leadership: Governor Uba Sani and the Favor of God.” The document, dated January 14, 2025, was shared with reporters and draws parallels between Governor Sani and the biblical figure King Darius.
A Modern-Day King Darius
Bobai’s article describes Governor Sani as a modern embodiment of King Darius, a pivotal biblical figure renowned for his just governance and dedication to fostering thriving communities amid adversity. Bobai writes:
“Throughout history, certain leaders have emerged not just from the crucible of political struggle but through divine orchestration. Today, Governor Uba Sani stands as a modern embodiment of such divine favor, demonstrating inclusivity and fostering peaceful coexistence to impact his community positively.”
Faith, Inclusivity, and Leadership
Bobai emphasizes the governor’s commitment to inclusivity, highlighting his ability to build bridges among Kaduna’s diverse communities. By prioritizing dialogue and amplifying marginalized voices, Governor Sani has cultivated unity and trust.
“Governor Sani’s policies and outreach initiatives reflect his character and dedication to the common good. His efforts to foster harmony have resonated deeply with citizens and underscore his commitment to a just and inclusive administration,” Bobai noted.
Governance Anchored in Principles
The piece also celebrates Governor Sani’s focus on transparency, accountability, and compassion. Bobai credits the administration with advancements in education, healthcare, and economic reforms, noting that such initiatives strengthen the societal fabric.
According to Bobai, Governor Sani’s leadership is not without challenges, but his reliance on divine guidance ensures resilience.
“Scripture assures us that no evil shall prevail against those favored by God. Governor Sani is undoubtedly shielded by divine providence, and his journey is filled with purpose and promise,” Bobai asserts.
Call for Unity and Support
Bobai calls on citizens to support the governor’s vision and contribute to a collective legacy of progress.
“When we unite in our efforts, we uplift not only our leader but our entire community. Governor Sani’s achievements echo the faith and prayers of countless individuals and reinforce the belief that unity and inclusivity will prevail,” he writes.
Collaboration Across Faiths
As a devout Muslim, Governor Uba Sani actively collaborates with Christian leaders to promote fairness and mutual respect. Bobai describes the governor as a faithful representative of Islam whose actions inspire interfaith harmony.
“Governor Sani’s leadership exemplifies the teachings of Prophet Mohammed and Prophet Isa, demonstrating the fairness and integrity a Muslim leader can bring to their communities,” Bobai concludes.
This tribute underscores the growing recognition of Governor Sani’s governance style and the positive trajectory of his administration in Kaduna State.
