Kaduna residents protest terrorists attacks, killing, kidnapping in Goni Gora

Youths in Gonin Gora community located along Kaduna- Abuja highway on Thursday block the highway in protest over terrorists attacked and killing of a number of residents and kidnapped some others persons yet to be identified.
Most of those killed during the attacked, occurred late Wednesday night were allegedly members of civilian JTF who made an attempt to engaged the terrorists invasion in an area identified as New Nigeria.
A Gonin Gora resident’s account by Victor Anawo, a Leader of Middle Belt Youth Association, who confirmed the story said he was attending the burial of one of the JTF members killed during the terrorists invasion, in their family.
He said the community was yet to ascertain the total number of those kidnapped as the time our reporter contacted him, but held that four JTF members have already been reportedly confirmed killed.
According to him, the information from scene of the attacked alleged that the vigilantes got information, and tried to engaged the heavily armed bandits when many of them lost their lives.
He said they were yet hear from the side of the terrorists, but said some operational vehicles were reportedly burnt down during the incident.
Contacted, the spokesman of Kaduna state police command Asp Mansir Hassan could not respond before press time. Details later.
