KAROTA Called Upon To Ban Underaged Tricycle Operation In Kano State

Kano Roadoad Traffic Agency has been called upon to ban all underaged tricycle operators in the state for safety measures where most of the accidents occurred in tricycles were usually caused by the underaged operators.

The call was made by Malam Shehu Abdullahi in an interview with newsmen in Kano adding that many underaged tricycle operators causes accidents almost everyday which is against road traffic rules and regulations.

He maintained that despite the bad activities of some  commercial tricycle operators in the state, Kano state is also witnessing too much underaged drivers who are playing with the lives of the people especially in the metropolitan.

” I hope that the Kano road traffic agency KAROTA would include the ban of underaged tricycle operators in it’s laws so as to ensure that there is safety on our roads especially at present when there is no regulations in the tricycle operations in Kano state “. He added.

Malam Shehu Abdullahi advises passengers to always board tricycles that is being driven by a person who is able to control the vehicle under any circumstances that may occur on the roads which would be more safer.
