Katsina Govt Changes State Logo

The Katsina State Government will make the new State logo public soon.

On Tuesday, the House of Assembly approved the change following a request from Governor Aminu Masari.

The decision was taken during plenary presided over by the Speaker, Tasi’u Maigari.

The request was read to House members by the Deputy Leader, Ibrahim Dikko (APC – Matazu constituency)

The new symbol was first presented to the State Executive Council on Thursday, June 24.

The Governor told the lawmakers that it depicts the historical antecedents of the Katsina people and symbolises the heritage, unity and authority.

Masari urged the legislature to expedite consideration of the request.

The Assembly, after deliberation, adopted and approved the use of the logo.
