KEDCO Resumes Implementation of Service Based Tariff

Kano electric distribution company, KEDCO says the company has resumed the service -based tariff following an earlier suspension by the  Nigerian electricity regulatory commission (NERC).
In a press statement signed and issued to Daybreak news in kano by the company’s head of corporate communications, Malam Ibrahim Sani Shawai, KEDCO reiterated it’s commitment to the service of the teaming customers at Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states.
The statement further announced that the new tariff plan would commence November 1,where prepaid customers would be the first set to partake in the implementation, while the post paid consumers to have the new tariff reflected in their November bills respectively.
Furthermore, the press release said that”  KEDCO is always trying to ensure that customers of all categories would be given special recognition in order to serves them more better especially when the management is doing everything possible to provide constant power supply at both rural and urban settlements.
