KNSG receives ISDB Vice President

Kano State Deputy Governor Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on Saturday in Abuja received the Vice President of the Islamic Development (ISDB) Dr.Mansur Muktar.

During the visit they discussed issues regarding the progress achieved in the Agro Pastoral Project which is funded by the ISDB and focused on improving crop production, enhancing livestock productivity and also targets One million farmers mainly small holder and pastoralists in Kano State.

The visit of the ISDB Vice President has come on the day the Kano State Government received the historic and good news that the African Development Bank (AFDB) has given approval for the Special Agro Processing Zone Project (S.A.P.Z) for Kano,FCT and Kwara which will also be funded by ISDB and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
