Kogi Assembly Fire: Dangote Fire Service Put-Off The Mysterious Monday Inferno

From Noah Ocheni, Lokoja

Drama as Dangote fire fighting truck
rushed all the way from Obajana Cement company to put off the mysterious inferno at the Kogi State House of Assembly on Monday morning.

This could be attributed to the non readiness or availability of the state fire fighting department to rush to the Assembly when the Hallow chamber was on fire.

It was gathered that the fire started middle of the night but the security agents were able to discover at about 7 am in the morning.

The most affected place is the Hallow Chamber which was razed down completely.

The Speaker of the house Prince Mathew Kolawole and the state security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara were among the early caller at the assembly complex.

The Speaker of the Assembly while speaking with newsmen said that he suspects sabotage but fell short of words of where the suspected sabotage might be from.

Asked whether it might have been linked with the recent happening between the Assembly and Dangote group, he said, that is left to the security to determine.

“We should leave security people to do their work and give us a report going forward” the speaker said.
However,a source who do not want his name in print said he suspected explosion but couldn’t say who might be responsible.

Meanwhile, it was Dangote fire fighting truck that came all the way from Obajana to quench th fire so that it doesn’t spread to other offices.
