Kogi Government Commends Mangal Cement for Donating Security Vehicle

The Kogi State Government has commended Mangal Cement Company for donating three brand-new Hilux vans to support security operations across the state. The donation, announced on Thursday in Lokoja, aims to strengthen the capacity of security agencies working to maintain peace and protect citizens.In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, the government described the donation as a significant boost to its ongoing security initiatives. He said the vehicles would enhance the operational efficiency of security personnel deployed across various communities.

Fanwo noted that Mangal Cement Company, a major industrial player in the state, has once again demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility through the donation. He added that the company’s support reflects a strong partnership with the state government in addressing critical security challenges.According to him, the gesture underscores the impact of public–private collaboration in building a safer environment for residents. “This timely support has shown what is possible when the private sector joins hands with the government in pursuit of a secure and prosperous Kogi State,” he said.The commissioner encouraged other corporate bodies, business leaders, and stakeholders to emulate Mangal Cement Company’s example. He stressed that collective action and shared responsibility are essential to sustaining development and ensuring the well-being of citizens.Fanwo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving security infrastructure and working closely with partners to maintain law and order throughout the state.
