Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Work Suspended to Ease Sallah Traffic

In a bid to alleviate potential congestion during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing has announced the suspension of ongoing reconstruction work on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The decision was made in response to heavy traffic flow, adverse weather conditions, and the advice of the traffic management team. The suspension will be in effect from June 27 to July 2, 2023, to ensure smoother travel for commuters during this significant period. Travelers are urged to cooperate with the deployed Traffic Management Team.
