Vice Chairman, Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Mr Tama Aondofa has applauded Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, other stakeholders for the massive support they gave to the club during the 2020/2021 NPFL Season.
In a statement by the club’s Head of Media, Uja Emmanuel Quoted Mr Tama as also lauding the Deputy Governor, Engr Benson Abounu who is the Chairman of the club for his leadership qualities which culminated into the brilliant performance of the Lobi Stars in the NPFL campaign.
The Vice Chairman commended the board, management, Coaches, Players, Backroom staff and other officials of the club who demonstrated commitment to the overall progress of the team.
He poured encomium on the supporters of the club for the unwavering support which they gave the team despite Covid-19 pandemic which bared them from the stadium to cheer their darling team.
Tama assured all football stakeholders that the club would be overhauled to strengthen it ahead of 2021/2022 NPFL Season.
It would be recalled that the Makurdi Premiership side beat Akwa United 2-1 to draw the curtains on the league at the Aper Aku Stadium Makurdi.
