Malami SAN Is A Curse Rather Than An Asset To The APC- Achida

By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

The controversy behind Sokoto APC has generated distance exchange of words between the Aliyu Wamakko and that of Abubakar Salame factions over the leadership of the party in the state.

Only yesterday Sunday, the Chief Justice and Minister of Justice of the Federation, Justice Abubakar Malami preempted court judgement which is still pending in the Court of Appeal.

Reacting, Achida said the Minister unfortunately chose the path of dishonor which dragged the name of his exalted office and the judiciary in the mud.

“As the chief law officer of the Federation, Malami openly made comments that preempted the judgment of the Court of Appeal which is yet to be delivered. By this singular act of recognizing a faction of the APC in Sokoto State, having known that the matter is still pending before the Court of Appeal,he has breached the sanctity of the constitution and his oath of office”, averred Achida.

He called on Malami SAN to resign his appointment as Attorney General of the Federation as well called on the Acting National Chairman of APC to expel Malami SAN from the APC because of the numerous roles he played in destabilizing the APC in Sokoto, Kano, Kebbi, Zamfara and Kwara states among others.

He described Ibrahim Shekarau of Kano state as wanderer who was in far away Otuoke to escort his President Jonathan after loosing election to Buhari.

Shekarau has no political expertise in political manipulation, otherwise he should have directed it towards achieving his ambition of controlling the APC in Kano state rather than Sokoto.

He Senator Wamakko is still the leader of APC in Sokoto state.
