MI Abaga Declares Odumodublvck as Nigeria’s Hottest Rapper

Nigeria’s legendary rapper MI Abaga has showered accolades on rising star Odumodublvck, calling him the hottest rapper in the country. Since his emergence in the Nigerian music mainstream, Odumodublvck has rapidly ascended to superstar status, establishing himself as one of Africa’s biggest rap talents.

In a recent interview, MI Abaga expressed his admiration for Odumodublvck when asked about the current top Nigerian rapper. “He is probably at the top of the game. What I love about him is his ability to unite old school and new school artists while promoting talent from his home city,” MI Abaga remarked.

MI Abaga emphasized Odumodublvck’s uniqueness and distinctiveness, stating, “He stands out, and I have a lot of respect and love for him.”

Odumodublvck celebrated this endorsement on his social media, acknowledging MI Abaga as one of the greatest artists in Nigeria, a figure he has often praised. Since gaining mainstream success with his hit single “Picanto,” featuring Zlatan, Odumodublvck has consistently produced chart-topping hits.

His accolades include the Headies award for Best Rap Song for “Declan Rice” in 2022 and the Rookie of the Year award, solidifying his position as a breakout star. Odumodublvck’s 2023 album “Eziokwu” recently achieved a remarkable milestone, spending over 50 weeks in the top 10 of Spotify Nigeria, setting a record for rap projects. His recent nomination for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards further cements his status as one of Africa’s leading rappers.
