Nasarawa To Implement National Livestock Transformation Plan

National Livestock Transformation Plan ( NLTP), initiated by Federal Government to tackle farmers / herders clash in the State is set to be implemented in Nasarawa State.

The implementation plan has drawn key Stakeholders in the State to brainstorm on how it work in the State. 
Speaking during a two days programme organized by Centre for democracy and development Special Adviser to governor Abdullahi Sule on NGO and development partners Munirat Abdullahi who represent the the governor said the peace building has already being in place in the State.

She explained that peace is something that can be streaming line in the life of people of the State was reason why Nasarawa State achieved with his neighboring State.
Munirat, said government had already engaged the border State to ensure peace with the border communities.


According to her,” We are in the process of established peace agency, we will continue to partner with Center for Democracy Development ( CDD) to ensure frame work should be rebust in the State.
The Special Adviser also expressed optimism to be in the meeting adding that Nasarawa state will ensure that everybody enjoy  lasting peace in the State.

Also speaking the national coordinator of Livestock Transformation Plan (NLTP), Mr. Chris Bacher said Nasarawa State is among the state that has key into Livestock transformation plan apart from ready key into implementation.
He explained that the brought in participants from Nasarawa, Benue, Jos and and north central region to look at what is happening In this State.

Chris Bacher, however said that at the end of programme the would work towards design action plan on how they can cooperate with implementing State.
