NCPC Boss Bishop Adegbite says Christmas Carol depicts message of peace, love, hope

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has said that the message of Christmas Carol depicts the message of peace, hope, grace, and love.

He said this on 13th December 2024 during the Commission’s 2024 Christmas Carol held at the Commission’s corporate headquarters in Abuja.

Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that the Lord would restore all that the cankerworms that the locust had eaten from the lives of Nigerians.

He reaffirmed that there would be Pilgrimage this year even when many thought it was not going to be possible, adding the Scriptural message, “but because Emmanuel, God is with us will never abandon us”.

He assured , ” Our Pilgrimage starting on 22nd December will be a resounding success.”

The NCPC boss used the season of the Christmas Carol to pray for the well-being of President Bola Tinubu, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the nation, the success of the Commission’s upcoming Main Pilgrimage exercise, the Board, and staff of the Commission.

Also, he commended the tenacity, resilience, and commitment of staff of the Commission, and wished them good health as they celebrate a Merry Christmas period and a prosperous new year in advance.

He declared, “2025 is your year of unending grace, your year of greater accomplishments, it shall be well with you. ”

Daybreak reports that this is the first Christmas Carol, celebrated under the leadership of Bishop Stephen Adegbite in NCPC.
The Christmas Carol was celebrated with pomp and pageantry by the staff and friends of the Commission.

A representative of the Board of the Commission, the Federal Commissioner representing the South East , Hon Chief Clement Nweke who joined the Executive Secretary and staff read the third lesson of the Carol taken from the Gospel of Mathew Chapter1: from verses 18 to 25.
