NCPC Boss hail’s FG for COVID-19 containment measures

Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Rev Yakubu Pam has hailed the Federal government’s practical measures to containCOVID 19 virus in the country.

In a press release signed by Celestine Toruka, Head Media, Public Relations of NCPC made available to Daybreak Rev. Pam made this commendation in Abuja recently while featuring on a live public enlightenment programme,’ Sunrise’ on Channels Television.

Rev Pam who said the COVID-19 measures such as the non pharmaceutical protocols and the vaccination is the right step towards the right direction were aimed at mitigating the effect of the virus and preventing the people from being infected with the virus.

He warned that COVID 19 is real and that all hands must be on deck to eradicating the virus.

The NCPC boss further revealed that faith based organisations were complementing the efforts of the government in their own little way to prevent the spread of the virus.

On the Federal government’s plan to make vaccination mandatory for all civil servants with effect from 1st December, Rev. Pam said that such practical measures would ensure workplace compliance.

He urged workers to obey constituted authorities by ensuring that they are fully vaccinated in compliance with the Federal government’s directive.
