In related operations, NDLEA apprehended a fleeing suspect, Onyejiuwa Ifeanyi, in Lagos, and arrested individuals involved in drug abuse in Katsina. The agency also seized large quantities of codeine cough syrup, tramadol, and other illicit substances in various locations across the country. Two ladies, Chiemenam Akusoba and Chidinma Ibenwa, were arrested in separate incidents, and several suspects were apprehended in Kaduna, Kogi, Borno, Ondo, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. The NDLEA continues its efforts to combat drug trafficking and abuse nationwide.
