Director General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), Alhaji Nura Sani Kangiwa has called for continuous training of practitioners in the hospitality industry as a way of upgrading the industry for quality service delivery and profit maximization.
Kangiwa who made the statement through Ahmed Mohammed Sule, Head of Media and Public Relations Unit of the Institute at the Certificate Award ceremony of staff of Bristol Hotel who recently graduated from the Baguda – Kano Campus of the Institute and the conferment of the Fellowship of the Institute on the Chairman of the hotel Senator Mohammed Ibrahim Ida for his contributions to hospitality education.
The Director General noted that NIHOTOUR has trained to international standard staff of Bristol Palace Hotel and urged the trainees to put in their very best from the knowledge and skills they acquired to make Bristol Palace Hotel a unique hospitality outfit not only in Nigeria but globally.
General Manager of Bristol Palace Hotel, Mr. Paul… noted that the new trainees are better prepared to put in their very best in offering quality services to guests of the hotel.
He appreciated NIHOTOUR for training staff of the hotel on best global hospitality skills.
Over 45 staff of the hotel received their certificates of training.
