North-central Apc Backs Tinubu, Adopts Green Cap Movement.

The North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum has adopted the green cap movement as their  official logo in the forthcoming 2027 election in Plateau state.

They also endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their candidate for the forthcoming President election slated to hold in 2027.

The group added that the decision was taken at a stakeholders meeting  with stakeholders of the forum on Thursday night. 

A statement issued after the meeting, signed by Chairman of the North-Central APC Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, noted that  it’s raining season in Plateau and “We have decided to adopt the green cap movement  because The TIME IS NOW”.

“We are also endorsing our President His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he is doing extremely well. “

“We want President Tinubu to continue with the reforms his administration is doing in order to reboot  the economy . “

Alhaji  Zazzaga  stated that Nigerians are proud of the progress made during President Tinubu’s two years in office, which is why there is a call to grant him another term in 2027.

Our endorsement is rooted in a comprehensive assessment of President Tinubu’s transformative leadership, his unwavering commitment to national development, and the tangible achievements recorded under his administration since May 29, 2023,”.

The statement also reads that ” The entire structure of our party at the North Central Zone had a meeting on Wednesday where we endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our candidate in the forthcoming 2027 election. 

Also our forum was at the at the APC National Summit held at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja  themed Renewed Hope Agenda: The Journey So Far where we appeared with our green cap to endorse the green cap movement on the Plateau. 

“The green cap movement in Plateau is doing well and we must support them to excel . “

The statement added that “At the summit all the 22 governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress  unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party’s sole presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was announced on Thursday by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State. 

“We call on Nigerians and people of the North Central especially Plateau citizens to support the green cap movement which we have adopted and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu , the statement added.
