North Eastern Governors Hosting The Second Annual Meeting In Maiduguri

2nd Meeting of North East Governors:
Governors of Nigeria’s North East have arrived Maiduguri the Borno State capital for their second regional meeting.

Borno state Governor Professor Babagana Zulum was at the Maiduguri international Airport to receive Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his Gombe state counterpart.

The first meeting was held In Gombe where they discussed the prevailing security and socioeconomic challenges facing the zone.

The Six Governors of the region who agreed to meet on quarterly basis are expected to review the previous meeting, receive briefings from Agencies like the North East Development Commission on challenges in the region and the way forward.
