NYA Appoints Six State Chairmen Across South-South to Strengthen Youth Mobilisation

By Jabiru Hassan

The Office of the National Vice President (South) of the National Youth Alliance (NYA) has announced the appointment of six new State Chairmen across the South-South region, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots structures and enhancing youth participation in national development.

According to the NYA, the appointments follow a careful review process and wide consultations with key stakeholders. The organisation said the decision reflects its renewed commitment to building a united national movement led by competent and service-driven young leaders.

The newly appointed State Chairmen are:

  • Mayor Sylvester – Akwa Ibom State
  • Raymond Amanze Onyeche – Rivers State
  • Hon. Victor Adoh – Delta State
  • Pastor Agbo Anthony – Cross River State
  • Hon. Ken Nalabh A.N. – Bayelsa State
  • Stephen Osaretin Ehimwenma – Edo State

The NYA said the appointees were selected based on their integrity, leadership experience, and consistent contributions to youth development within their communities.

They are expected to immediately begin mobilising and coordinating NYA activities in their states in line with the organisation’s national strategic agenda ahead of upcoming political and socio-economic engagements.

The National Youth Alliance congratulated the new State Chairmen and urged them to uphold transparency, inclusiveness, and patriotic commitment in their service to Nigerian youth.
