OPC Leader In Osun, Olojongbodu Welcomes Safe Release of Niger State Abductees

The Leader of Oodua Peoples’ Congress, (OPC) in Osun State, Alhaji Leke Akintayo popularly known as “Olojongbodu” has welcomes the safe release of the school children, teachers and their family members who were abducted from Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State.
According to Alhaji Akintayo in a Press Statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Saturday, this is sequel to the earlier release of Niger State Transport Authority passengers.
The statement said, “It is truly heartwarming that the abductees have been reunited with their families and loved ones.
” I appreciate government’s efforts including some individuals which ensured the safe release of the abductees”.
“The release of the students is a round peg in a round hole” he added.
Alhaji Akintayo who belongs to Chief Friedrick Fasbeun’s led OPC group congratulated President Muhammad Buhari on the development while enjoined him to expedite more action on the issue of security of the entire nation while he should focus on the safe release of schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Junior Secondary School Jangebe, Zamfara State as well.
