Osinbajo breaks ground for Kajola rolling stock factory

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo today in Kajola Ogun state performed the ground breaking ceremony of the Kajola Rolling stock factory a private initiative of CCECC, the contractor handling the nations rail mordernisation project.

Osinbajo used the occasion to than the government of the Peoples Republic of China and the CCECC for the initiative which he said would ensure that coaches and wagons would now be produced locally for the railway projects and also to neigbouring countries.

He expressed delight that the project would generate about 5000 job opportunities and charged the CCECC to ensure that it speeds up the take of of the factory.

Also speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi said that the project was the outcome of the spirited efforts by the administration to ensure that the railway projects are not only completed by that the manpower and machineries needed for their sustainance are domesticated.
