Over 4,000 Learning Centers Enriched With Learning Materials, Beddings

Commenting on the distribution of learning and teaching materials,the Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji said the materials remain key to ensuring the success of BESDA Non Formal Learning System (NFLCS) in the state.

Alhaji Altine Shehu noted that the materials which include Exercise and note books would be given to all the twenty three LGEAS for onward distribution to the four thousand one hundred NFLCS across the state.

He therefore challenged the Education Secretaries to hasten the evacuation of their consignment as the State Universal Basic Education Board will shoulder the transportation of the materials to their respective local governments.

According to him Sokoto subeb will soon set-up committees that would monitor the distribution of the materials to various NFLCs.

Also commenting,the LEAD Result Area one Alhaji Kabiru Aliyu explained that the teaching and learning materials included White boards,Markers,writing and reading books,sign post of the centers, and safeguard boxes among others.

Alhaji Kabiru Aliyu very soon uniform, school bags and mats would be given to the Education Secretaries for distribution to the 4,100 NFLCs.

All these he said would be in addition to provision of vocational trades tools to 67 post literacy and vocational skills centers.
