Oyo State: 902 Newly Recruited Workers to Receive Appointment Letters

The Oyo State Government has announced that the 902 graduates recently recruited into its civil service will begin receiving their appointment letters starting Friday, January 24, 2025.

This development follows the approval of the recruitment by Governor Seyi Makinde, which includes graduates with university degrees and Higher National Diplomas.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Abiodun Aderibigbe, the distribution of appointment letters will run from Friday, January 24, 2025, to Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Successful applicants are expected to collect their letters at designated offices within the Civil Service Commission between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily, except for Friday, when the collection time will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

While congratulating the successful candidates, Alhaji Aderibigbe urged them to maintain orderliness during the collection process. He emphasized that letters of appointment would not be issued by proxy and noted that commissioners would be present to oversee the exercise.

  • Tuesday, January 28, 2025: Higher Executive Officer (Information and Public Relations), Higher Executive Officer (Tourism), Higher Programme Officer, Higher Statistical Officer, Higher Technical Officer (Building, Civil, Electrical, Exploration, Mechanical, Surveying, Town Planning) cadres, as well as Information Officer, Inspector of Taxes, Lands Officer, Social Welfare Officer, and State Counsel cadres.

Alhaji Aderibigbe expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde for what he described as a historic recruitment exercise in Oyo State. He prayed for divine blessings, good health, and continued success in the Governor’s tenure and future endeavors.
