Veteran Nollywood actor Pa James has shared a positive account of his experience working with Wale Adenuga on the popular comedy series Papa Ajasco and Company.
Speaking in a recent interview with Lucky Udu, the actor said he still maintains a cordial relationship with Wale Adenuga Productions and continues to work with the company whenever called upon.
Pa James also addressed concerns about remuneration, stating that the production company pays its actors promptly and does not owe them, even for brief engagements such as meetings.
Reflecting on his time on the long-running series, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the project lasted far longer than he initially expected.
He added that his involvement in the show brought significant financial benefits, including enabling him to purchase a car.
His comments come amid renewed discussions about the Papa Ajasco franchise, following remarks by fellow actor Richard Ayoyinka on his experience playing the titular character.
