Some Aspirants who contested for the Plateau State House of Assembly tickets in the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Plateau South Senatorial District, on Sunday commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for giving youths opportunities to be senior members of his cabinet.
” Our People friendly Governor Barr Caleb Mutfwang has given a large percentage of positions in his administration to vibrant young men and women of the state, this is brilliant and commendable ” they added .”

Barrister Ndam on behalf of the Aggrieved House of Assembly Aspirants in Plateau South Senatorial District said Gov Mutfwang’s empowerment of the youth through political and economic involvement had made him one of the most youth-oriented governors in the country.
He applauded Governor Mutfwang for all his efforts aimed at bettering the lives of citizens of Plateau .
” The recent swearing in of Several Youths by our Governor as Commissioners ,Special Advisers and other aides has shown that his cabinet is peopled mostly by youths and women, indeed this is a paradigm shift, as the state has never witnessed this transformation
Bar Ndam described the gesture as a wonderful development that would eventually turn around the fortune of the state as the chosen youths were vibrant enough and ever ready to collaborate with his Excellency to take dividends of democracy to the door steps of the good people of Plateau State.
“We, the members of the aggrieved APC Aspirants from the Southern Zone of Plateau are showing our solidarity to you and to commend our governor for running a government with the highest number of youths as cabinet members.
“We are pledging our support to him now and later, he has shown that he is a lover of youths by his disposition.
“And we want to call on other governors to emulate him on purposeful youth engagement in governance,’ the statement further reads.
Barr. Selbol Ndam also commended the Secterary to the Government of the State Arch Samuel Nanchang Jatau for proper handling of policy-making and overseeing the implementation of decisions, policies and programmes as well as the operations of government ministries, agencies and parastatals in the state orderly .
