The Plateau State Executive Committee (EXCO) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has passed a vote of confidence on the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.The resolution was reached during a courtesy visit by the state party leadership to Yilwatda at his residence in Jos, Plateau State.
The delegation, led by Plateau APC Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature, included party officials and stakeholders who reaffirmed their support for the national chairman’s leadership.Bature described Yilwatda as a unifying figure within the party, noting that his leadership has strengthened internal structures and boosted confidence among party members.
He said the Plateau chapter remains committed to supporting the chairman’s efforts to promote stronger party organisation, internal democracy and grassroots engagement. According to the state chairman, Yilwatda has also contributed to fostering cohesion within the APC while advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Responding, the APC national chairman expressed appreciation for the support shown by the Plateau delegation.Yilwatda reiterated his commitment to building a disciplined, inclusive and united party focused on collective progress and effective political organisation.
