Plateau Artisans laud Governor Mutfwang’s inclusive leadership, endorse him for 2027

By Israel Adamu, Jos

A coalition of Plateau artisans under the umbrella of the Vanguard for the Voice of Reasoning has passed a resounding vote of confidence in the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, lauding his inclusive and people-centered leadership. The group has also declared its unwavering support for his re-election in the 2027 governorship election.

In a communiqué issued after its routine meeting in Jos and signed by its spokesperson, James Buba, the group pledged to mobilize citizens across various professions and communities to stand solidly behind Governor Mutfwang under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), “come rain or shine.”

The statement noted that the people of Plateau have found renewed hope and pride in the leadership of Governor Mutfwang, who has, within two years, rekindled the lost glory of the state. According to the group, his administration has restored public trust and proven that with the right leadership, it is possible to achieve:

“Accessible and affordable healthcare for all, durable road infrastructure, subsidized and reliable transportation for the common man, quality education for the underprivileged, mechanized agriculture for rural farmers, and strengthened security for daily economic activities.”

The group unanimously endorsed Governor Mutfwang for a second term, affirming that the decision is based on his remarkable performance and tangible achievements over the past two years.

“We, the coalition of artisans in Plateau State under the “Vanguard for the Voice of Reasoning”, after a thorough evaluation of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s administration, are firmly convinced that he is the transformational leader Plateau has long desired. He has kept his promises and matched words with action across every critical sector of the economy,” the statement read.

The artisans specifically cited visible progress in the areas of transport, healthcare, agriculture, education, tourism, security, and human capital development, stressing that their endorsement is rooted in verified impact and genuine transformation.

The statement further warned purveyors of propaganda and misinformation to desist from attempting to mislead the public, stressing that the Plateau electorate is enlightened and resolute.

“Plateau is not for sale. We stand united and unshaken in our support for Governor Mutfwang. The future of the state is secure under his visionary leadership, and come 2027, we will return him to continue the good work; especially in creating enabling environment for our hand work to blossom and support the economy of the state”.
