“We call on the Speaker not to be deterred by a so call group the Occupy Plateau Campaigns (OPC) which recently accused Speaker Dewan of refusing to swear in the 16 lawmakers.

” The propaganda against the Speaker by this group would continue to fail as it is so clear that the Courts not the Speaker of the Plateau House of assembly Hon Gabriel Dewan that is stopping the swearing in of 16 Lawmakers who got their victory from the Court of Appeal. ”

” The manner in which the Speaker Hon Gabriel Dewan had been directing the affairs of the assembly has translated to peaceful coexistence between the executive and the legislative arms of government in the state.”
