The exercise, scheduled for 22-23 for DOP, and House to House, for 24-27 October, 2020, would be conducted on the streets, and markets, motor parks among others.
This was contained in a statement issued by the State Coordinator, Journalists Initiative on Immunization against Polio (JAP) Kaduna State Chapter, Malam Lawal, Dogara Chapter.
JAP explained that although Nigeria and African continents have been certified Polio-free, supplemental home-to-home and routine immunization will continue to be implemented to prevent importation of the wild polio virus from endemic countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The body therefore urged parents and care givers to make sure their children are immunized during the exercise.
JAP urged religious and community leaders to champion sensitization campaign against the spread of COVID 19 to curtail the spread of the disease.
JAP stated that COVID 19 as a notorious disease which has spread all over the world and does not respect class or position of any person.
It therefore appealed to all Nigerians to abide by the use of face mask, hand sanitizer etc. order by government as that is the best alternative to stop the spread of the disease.

According to the statement, JAP has met with religious and traditional leaders in its drive to sensitizer the people and will continue to do so as its agenda for corporate social responsibility.
