Political Chieftain In Sokoto Bids PDP Farewell, Says APC Is The Party To Beat

Towards the forhcoming Nigeria’s general elections, APC in Sokoto State has continued to garner more support from all nooks and crannies of the state as many PDP loyalists are dumping the party for APC.

The recent development was the defection of one of the PDP powerful youth in Sarkin Adar/Kofar Atiku Ward of Sokoto South Local Government Area of the state, a ward where PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Sa’idu Umar Ubandoma comes from.

Similarly, another big catch from PDP, Alhaji Bello Farido from Tudun Wada Ward of the same Local Government was also received by APC Gubernatorial Candidate Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.

Furthermore, a former Councillor from Sarkin Zamfara ‘B’ Ward of same Local Government Area, Hon.Abdullah Muhammad also left PDP for APC and was also welcomed by the Gubernatorial Candidate of the party, Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto.

In the same vein, a PDP singer in the state, Mallam Sadiq Dan Baiwa has abondoned PDP for APC saying his former party disappointed him.

The quadrads were all welcomed happily into APC by the party’s Gubernatorial Candidate, Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto with full assurances of equal treatment in the affairs of the party.

He also called on them to mobilize more support for APC to win elections at all levels.

In another development, APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Hon. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto FCNA on behalf of APC Leader in the State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, himself and APC party Chaimra, Hon. Isah Sadiq Achida congratulated Alh. Auwal Mai Akwai Jaredi, who was just appointed as a Member for Youth Mobilization Committee for North West Zone for Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign Council.

Ahmad Aliyu, described the appointment as a well deserved and wished the appointee all the best in discharging his duty.
