Promoting Vocational Education Would Facilitate Self-reliance And Reduce Unemployment.

Vocational education has been described as one of the channels towards promotion of self-reliance through creation different skills acquisition programmes that reduces unemployment in Nigeria.

This was stressed by malam Yusuf sa’ad when our correspondent visited local key holder industry at Kunnawa Majema in Dawakin Tofa local government area, adding that local key holder production has became an employment opportunity to their kids especially at present when the globe is advancing in self-reliance.

” We are happy to inform you that our kids are now equipped with good knowledge on how to defend on themselves like what you have seen and we are here with the children daily after school hours, and i assure you that the local key holder production is a nice occupation that bring profits daily”. He added.

In his remarks, Malam Nasir Dalha announced that people of all categories are busy in Kunnawa Majema because our Town is very popular in all kinds of hide and skin remodelling that are being exported to different countries.

He called on the federal, states and local government councils to establish a vocational training centres for the young generations and other categories of people so as to develop economic progress especially nowadays when the needs to switch to entrepreneurship at all levels.
