Ramadan: Sales Of Water Melon Now Boosting-Report.

The water melon sales and marketing is going successfully as the vendors and dealers across Kano state now witnessing bumper sales when the Ramadan fasting is ongoing.

Our correspondent who went to some markets and water melon sales joints reported that the vendors lamented boost in their daily sales because the number of the consumers increased due to Ramadan fasting.

At Badume rural market, Malam Musa Bala disclosed that ” our water melon is pure and fresh that is why we makes sales more than any other place that sells the commodity, and you can see how fresh our goods are being displayed for the respective buyers”. He stated.

In his remark, Auwal Magaji who grows and sells water melon for long time announced that this year alone, water melon business is one of the successful income generating practice, where he lamented that water melon is an important consumables during fastings.

The price of the commodity remained from 200 Naira, 300 and 700 but it defends on the size or vigorousness of each piece which includes the transportation expenses.
