RCCG FCT 6 distributes food items to about 200 Widows to Mark Christmas feast

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mission Department FCT 6, organized an event to support widows as part of its missionary year program.

According to the Zonal Pastor and Cluster Head of Kwali RCCG FCT 6 Region 10 Abuja Dagunduro Gideon, the end-of-year program was designed to honor the widows of the church for their commitment to the house of God.

He noted that the initiative also aimed to provide assistance to help them celebrate Christmas in a joyful manner.

Pastor Dagunduro expressed, “We appreciate them and provide gifts for Christmas, which include eggs, rice, oil, clothing materials, and more.”

He mentioned that over 40 widows had previously received gifts, and during the recent event, around 200 widows were given rice, groundnut oil, clothing, and other items.

The food supplies were distributed across three locations: Gwagwalada, Kwali, and Dobi.

The event took place at the Cornerstone Parish of the RCCG Church FCT 6, Region 10.

The missionary program aimed to assist widows from various areas within the RCCG province.

The event also included a gathering for “Jesus’ wives” (widows), where around 200 widows, both from RCCG and non-Christian backgrounds, were encouraged to look to God as their source of support and to place their trust in Him.

Dignitaries in attendance included Pastor Mrs. Aruwaji, Pastor Elliott Afiyo, and Mrs. Adewoye.

The organizers, led by Pastor Gideon, expressed gratitude to the church’s regional pastor, Akiode, provincial pastor Kunle Lawal, and co-sponsors, including Pastor Bright Isioro, for their support in making the program a success.
