Simon Achuba, the Kogi state deputy governor, has portrayed cases recommending that he is wanting to desert to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as ‘lies from the pit of hellfire’.

Achuba said this during a Channels TV meet, in response to the Kogi state House of Assembly’s prosecution move against him.

Daybreak.ng accumulates that the deputy governor said the prosecution move isn’t surprising; asserting that as opposed to tending to the issues of debasement that he had raised, Governor Yahaya Bello was utilizing the lawmakers against him.

The deputy governor demanded that toward the day’s end, the person who is in the correct will be known; and encouraged Kogi indigenes to remain mollusk and calmly approach their organizations.

Talking further on the deserting claims, Achuba stated:“It is a lie from the pit of hell and that is what they want people to believe.”

Achuba said there’s no connection between the indictment procedure and the cases of his deserting; expressing that prosecution isn’t about party enrollment.

The deputy governor gave the affirmation that he remains an All Progressives Party (APC) part and will keep on serving the individuals as an individual from the gathering.

Review that the Kogi state House of Assembly on Wednesday, August 7, started the procedure for the indictment of the Deputy Governor Simon Achuba.

The indictment see, which was a request, was perused by Abdullahi Bello (APC-Ajaokuta), the majority leader of the House, on the floor of the Assembly. The petitions of the administrators depended on criminal extravagance, budgetary misappropriation and under-execution with respect to Achuba.
