Saburi Expressway facilitating our businesses, Residents Attest

Saburi Dei Dei Expressway is one of the numerous satellite roads which residents and traders say has renewed their hope in the FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike’s administration and the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Traders and residents of Saburi one and Saburi two are now counting financial blessings in their businesses, improved health and community development.

A longtime resident, Mrs. Julinana Ochoche who fries akara, ( bean cake), for a living in an appreciative mood extolled the FCT Minister. Barr. Nyesmo Wike for the impact of the newly constructed road on her daily sales as she boosts of more costumers.

Ochoche who spoke to journalists in pidgin English said, “This is Saburi Dei Dei. With this new road, there is dust or mud in Saburi again.
” We no see dust, we no se pootor poortor again. Road free.”

” We dey happi. God bless Wike, God bless him generation because he don do good for Saburi Dei Dei. God bless Nigeria. ”
She narrated that the construction of the road has brought sanitation to the environment as all dirt were cleared before the road construction began. She now does her business in a clean environment.

“Our businesses are moving because the road has attracted more people from the nooks and cranny to patronize our businesses in Saburi.”

A furniture trader, Nicholas Emmanuel thanked Wike for providing the Expressway in the community.

He said , ” the road is good .Before the coming of the new FCT Minister, the road condition in Saburi was very, very bad. It was almost like a death tap.”

” During the raining season so many motorbikes conveying passengers do fall because of the bad road and during the dry season we use nose mask to cover our faces because of the unbearable dust.”

“Now I am happy because my business is moving smoothly, and in addition, I don’t have to clean dust from the displayed furniture. No more dust. No more running nose for me.”

Another residents and trader at Saburi One, Engineer Akin Akinwande, thanked God for bringing the FCT minister to rescue Saburi from the nightmare of unmotorable roads and poor economy.ic growth.

Akinwande disclosed that he was attracted to relocate his business to Saburi One after the construction of Saburi Dei Dei road by the FCT Minister.

“This road to Saburi one, Saburi two to Dei Dei market is a standard road unlike the one they did for us five years ago. Under 3 weeks the road had spoiled, and we didn’t like the road again.”

He said, ” Before now our businesses was not moving but presently with the new road our businesses are booming because people from Dawaki, Dei Dei and other parts across the FCT come here to buy our goods and services.”

He emphasized, ” Saburi road has pulled many customers to my business. Now we have over one hundred cars plying this road within a short interval, as against twenty cars because of the bad road. So this has helped to increase my business. I like Wike may God bless him.”

Wike is the first minister of FCT whom the less privileged have benefited from. We thank him because the road has benefited us, and it is OK for us, he said.

Emeka Oduma, a truck driver, a resident who has lived in Saburi One in the past ten years who spoke on behalf of some residents said that they are all impressed by what the FCT Minister has done for residents of the village and in Abuja.

“I am a truck driver, living in Saburi one for the past ten years. And I am happy for the good road network the minister has created in a Saburi village. There is no more traffic holdup on the road.”

Oduma while thanking God for the new minister, urged others who will come after Wike to follow his footsteps in community development.

Emmanuel Ogboh who operates a provision store in Saburi, also stated that he is really happy about the development of the road.

Before now, our roads were horrible. When it rains, it becomes really difficult for cars to pass,
