The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Jibril Ismail Falgore, has been honoured with an esteemed award of excellence by the Salka Media, Peace, and Development Center.
The award was accepted on behalf of Speaker Falgore by his special Advisor on governance and Legislative Matters, Hon. Abdullahi Alfa.
In a statement released by the spokesperson, Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai, on Tuesday, it was highlighted that the award was a recognition of Falgore’s unwavering commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by vulnerable groups such as orphans, women, youth, and out-of-school children.
Hon. Abdullahi Alfa expressed that the Center acknowledged Falgore’s remarkable leadership qualities, dedication, and remarkable efforts in the spheres of welfare, education, and youth empowerment, leading to this prestigious accolade as a gesture of solidarity for his impactful work in uplifting the lives of many.
During his acceptance speech, Alfa conveyed his gratitude to the Center for acknowledging Falgore’s accomplishments and pledged to continue the noble work of enhancing the well-being of society through consistent philanthropic endeavours.
