Senator Wamakko Condoles Police Affairs Minister Over Demise Of Brother

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defence and Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti Corruption, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, on Friday condoled the Minister of Police Affairs , Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, over the death of his younger brother, Alhaji Abubakar Umar, Baraden Kaurar Kwasau, Tulluwa District, Wamakko local government of Sokoto State.

The late Village Head of Kaurar Kwasau, who was the immediate younger brother of the Minister,died on Wednesday, July 15,2020, after a brief illness.

His spokesman Bashir Rabe Mani further said the late monarch who was aged 65, is survived by two wives , ten children, several grand and great grand children.

Senator Wamakko prayed the Almighty Allah to repose the soul of the deceased and grant the family the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Also on Friday , Senator Wamakko visited Gandu area, Wamakko town, headquarters of Wamakko local government where he condoled three various families over the deaths of three persons recently .

The deceased were : Alhaji Mamman Wakili, the Shamakin Wamakko, Alhaji Umar Lami and Alhaji Ibrahim Mai-Rabah.

Speaking during the four condolences, Senator Wamakko described the deaths of the deceased persons as great losses not only to the respective families, but to the local government, state and Nigeria , in general.

Special prayers for the repose of the departed souls were led by Sheikh Abdulaziz Kofar Rini, Chief Imam of Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Juma’at Mosque, Sokoto.

Senator Wamakko’s high powered delegation inlcuded the State Chairman of APC, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida, other execuives of the party at the state and local governments levels, serving and former members of National, as well as State Assemblies, among other dignitaries.
