Senator Wamakko Connects Sanyinna Town With National Grid

The Former Governor of Sokoto state and serving Senator Representing Sokoto North Senatorial District Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has promised to look into the complaints of the people of Sanyinna town of Tambuwal local government area,Sokoto state over their disconnection to national grid for about four years now.

The former Governor was speaking, Friday when he had a stopped over at Sanyinna town on his way back to Sokoto from Kebbi state.

He said very soon he would look into the possibility of making sure their tears are wiped so as to continue with their normal life for economic growth in the area.

Earlier, One of the APC leaders in the area Alhaji Bafashi Sanyinna told the Senator that for the past four years, Sanyinna town has been in blackout as all the power cables were disconnected from Marmaro Area to Yabo junction.
He said they made all effort to the authority concerned but all went without success.

They appealed to Senator Wamakko to as a matter of urgency rescue them and re-connect them with the National grid as all their business activities were grounded.
