Setting INEC Offices On Fire Is A Crime – GPP

Government properties protection Group  (GPP) have called on the security agencies to prosecute anybody arrested with an offence of setting INEC Offices ablaze in order to serve as a lesson to those planning such attacks.

In a press statement that was signed  by the group’s secretary-general Alhaji Miko Dan Amar and issued to our correspondent in Kano GPP described burning f INEC Offices as a crime and must be punished because it is a great  disgrace destroying the national electoral body’s offices.

He assured that Government Properties Protectors would commence public enlightenment in Media in order to bring an end to the incescent burning of electoral authority when the country is getting set for the 2023 general elections, where he called on the good Samaritan to monitor bad eggs who are always planning to destroy government properties and advice all the 3 tiers  of government to constitute a surveillance committee that would protects government properties within their domains. 

“Our group is working selflessly to protect government properties and we would commence public enlightenment to educate the people on the needs to protects government properties, and we would use different Media organization to actualize our services, similarly, we solicits more supports from governments and other well meaning citizens to advance more”. He stated.
