Shun Conflicts, Embrace Peaceful Coexistence Towards Socio Economic Devt – Sanusi

The project Manager of Pastoral Resolve (PARE), Mallam Muhammad Munji Sanusi has called on Various groups to shun conflicts and embrace peaceful coexistence towards the socio economic development in the land.

Mallam Sanusi made the call in Lokoja at the formation of Kogi State Peace Youth Network programme organised by the Pastoral Resolve (PARE) under community Initiatives to promote programs, held at Idrinana Hotel, Lokoja.

He pointed out that the objective of the program was to ensure the formation of various groups to strive as a team to amplify with one voice of the importance of sustaining peace in the society.

The project Manager pointed out that development cannot surface in the face of conflicts stressing “we cannot equate peace with any other aspects of life in a community.”

Sanusi called on various groups to be committed in their sensitisation programmes so as to make their impact felt in peace keeping and social harmony.

On the electioneering process and it’s effect on the community, Mallam Sanusi enjoined parents and guardians to be watchful amongst their children’s peer groups and caution them against being used by politicians as thugs.

The project Manager appealed to participants to carry out more enlightenment campaigns to the grassroots and caution electorates of the looming danger of selling their voter’s cards to politicians.
